BENNY Awards

The Business Ethics Network introduced the annual BENNY Awards in 2005 to recognize outstanding corporate campaign victories. Award winners are announced each year at the annual BEN Conference.

Some of the most brilliant, passionate, and dedicated people in the world can be found in the movement to transform corporations into socially and environmentally responsible organizations. While the achievement of change and the amelioration of harm are often enough to sustain them, we believe that those activists and organizations whose results are especially outstanding deserve to be recognized by their peers. They are the inspiration and models for those who follow in their footsteps. For this reason we have established the BENNY Awards for outstanding contributions to the advancement of corporate ethics.

Our hope is that the BENNY Awards will help to further establish the credibility of the corporate transformation movement and bring much deserved attention not only to the winners, but to all groups who are nominated. BEN Members nominate campaigns for the BENNY and Path to Victory Awards, and the winners are decided upon by our BENNY Awards Committee. The Awards Committee and staff together decide the winner of the Individual Achievement Award. We appreciate everyone’s participation in this important celebration of our movement’s accomplishments.
